When the recipe says 4 cups flour and 1.5 cups salt (and some other stuff)...how much dough is this making? that is to say, how many handprint ornaments? (I ask because if one batch will make enough then I can do it today; otherwise I have to wait)

The recipe I have is 1c flour, 1/2 c water, 1/2c salt. I can get about 4 hands out of it. But it takes like 4 days to dry. I put mine in the oven for about 4 hrs at 175 and that did the trick. Hope this helps.

2 cups of all purpose bleached flour
1 cup of salt
3/4 cups of water *add a little more water if your dough is dry and not sticking together.

225 oven - 45 min flip over, another 45m flip over, 30 min more. (about 2 hours) They took a few hours to cool. We painted them the next day and then modpodged them with sequins.

This is what we used and it made enough for 10 kids to make a tree and a star (cookie cutters). So 20 total.

Hmm. I'm looking at a recipe that's 4 c flour, 1 cup salt, 1.5 (ish) cups of water, 1/3 cup vegetable oil, bake at 200 for a couple hours.

I wonder why they're all so different :P I've got more than enough flour, it's salt that's the problem. I have 5 of them to do.
