Looking to purchase a home for my daycare and I called my insurance agent and they will not insure a dwelling used strictly for daycare. Do you know of any Minnesota insurance companies that will? Any advice is appreciated!

I believe there is a sticky thread on this up at the top, but also try State Farm.

ACC is another company that provides child care in MN. However PLEASE exercise caution when obtaining insurance through your homeowners coverage. We can not stress enough the deficiencies. They may not cover all the children in your care and they do not offer accident medical policies. They also may not even offer a child abuse endorsement so definitely do your research. If you need help we are more than happy to supply you with a checklist of questions to ask when looking for child care insurance.
