Default Baby's Here!!! ~ UPDATED with Pictures!!
Just wanted to let you all know Ava Rose was born 12:08 pm. She is doing well in the NICU...she is 3 lbs 15 oz, 16.9 inches.

I had an extreme emergency c-section. Thank you for all your support!!

I know the NICU is scary but it sounds like she is doing well! Hoping you are okay! Was it the blood pressure?

Congratulations, were you about 32 weeks? That is about how big mine was supposed to be when she was born. The NICU is a scary experience, feel free to message me if you need someone to talk to. Mine was in there for 7 weeks and I could have used the support of someone who had been through it.

She's just precious! Congratulations and I hope everything goes smoothly for both of you. Were you heading into eclampsia or HELLP or something else that caused the emergency Csec? (you mentioned blood pressure spiking, I know a lot about birth and stuff....sorry...I'm a bit of a nerd....)

She is precious!!

My oldest was born at 28 weeks and weighed 2lbs 12oz, his stay in the the NICU was a little over 2 months. It can be scary as others have mentioned, but stay encouraged!!

Hey, sorry just getting back to this. Its been a crazy week!

I actually had started having placental abruption, where the placenta starts detaching prematurely from the wall.of the uterus and coming apart. Very dangerous. If had hadn't already been in the hospital, this wouldn't have ended nearly as well as it did.

When they took the placenta out, there was only a piece left intact. Hubby said it was just disintegrated...

I have soooo much to be grateful for...

Oh my gosh that's tiny. I thought my niece was small. She was born at 25 weeks and weighed 2.08 lbs. She was born on December 24 and came home April 13.

Congrats Hunni! She is just beautiful. I wish her a quick trip out of that NICU!

All is well.

She's eating and growing like a champ. All IVs are out and her oxygen. She's just on a feeding tube still.

We got to hold her for the first time today and she promptly reached up and pulled her daddy's glasses off
