I started a new boy that is almost 4, today is his third day. It is very evident and with confirmation from his parents that in his previous daycare there was no structure and they just did what they wanted. Which I get it will take some time especially for his age to get use to new rules.
My issue with him is he is always accusing the other kids that they are not sharing when in fact HE is the one grabbing a toy from them ect. I explain to him that he can't take something from others that he needs to ask, his response is, well I want it. Anyways whenever he says they aren't sharing he comes to me and says they are bullying him. Well I can tell you right now that is NOT the case.
Does anyone have a GOOD way to explain sharing/bullying to an almost 4 yr old?

I'd be willing to bet he has already learned those accusations work for him. What was the reason they pulled him from his last placement?

Was he expected to be able to free play in centers or with a group?
