I have been toying with the idea of finding some sort of reusable snack cups/containers/etc that are affordable enough to buy enough that I could conceivably prep all/most of the snacks for the entire week on the weekend and have completely effortless snacks for the entire week. Divided ones would be great so that I could have the whole snack in one container, but if I had to I could probably live with having separate ones when one component of snack is wet (like fruit) and the other is dry (like graham crackers).
Does anyone have any idea where I could look for something like this, or links to something like it, or ideas at all?
Thanks!

Thanks DCMom! Those are awesome but probably a bit out of my price range for as many as I'd need...

the dollar tree has a ton of containers. they have tiny ones, big ones, the reusable "glad" type ones. they aren't a dollar EACH either - they're usually in a pack of four or something. check it out.

What a great idea! Would you prep each snack for each individual child, or just for each snack and then divy it up at each snack time?
As far as containers go, I'm thinking there are a few divided containers at our dollar store (Dollarama) that may fit the bill ...

I'm hoping to have containers for each individual kid so that I can just hand them out and be done with it.
Plus, if I have individual ones, it's easier to head outside with the snack and easier to make them understand, "Sorry, but we don't do seconds at snack." I had thought of doing Ziploc baggies, but the eco-friendly side of me just can't stomach the thought of all that waste each day.
QualiT and DBug thanks for the idea about the $ store, I'll have to check there. I was thinking Big Lots might have something that fits the bill as well.

I use the plastic containers that gerber baby food comes in.
I recycle everything that could possibly have another use in Art World and started saving them when my almost-4 year olds were babies. I have many of them
I use them for pre-measured snacks, little bits of leftovers, paint cups, to store tiny art items like wiggly eyes, bag lunches for the park...really the uses are endless. You can wash them out or throw them away after you use them again; they actually hold up very well in the dishwasher.

That's a great idea too. Sadly, it will be 8 or 9, maybe 10 months before I have a wee one eating baby food again!

Oooo those have intriguing possibilities! I could store them in the big 13x9 Gladware containers I have laying around.

I use these from the dollar tree and I love them! I have about 150 and I fill them with fruit for lunches, snacks, ice cream for treats, etc. You get 5 or 6 with lids for $1 and the plastic is just as heavy as the take and toss.
