What term would you use to describe "preschool" for a 2 year old? Very play based with introduction to basic preschool concepts such as letters, shapes, numbers through games, activities, rhyming, etc. I use preschool for 3's, Pre-K for 4's, but not sure what to call 2yo preschool. Nursery school, tot school, any other suggestions?

We call our 2's class "early learners"

I personally wouldn't call it "school" of any kind... my babes age out out about 18-21 months & most already know basic "preschool" songs (even if they can't sing them all due to not saying words well), colors, #'s & alphabet, but we do it by playing; the 2 year olds should still be playing - I may be old school due to age, but why call it school at all if you are mainly play based?

I've heard early learners, playschool, foundations.... I would avoid "preschool" label for 2's. I would stress the "learning through play" aspect.
