I fell down the stairs and hurt my foot. I'm hoping it's just sprained, but...somehow I have a feeling that might be worse than that. I'm trying to get someone to come stay with the kids and someoneto take me to the ER but inthe meantime...these guys need to behave...wish me luck, and pray that it's not broken.

Not broken, luckily. Just a sprain. I have an obnoxious boot thing to wear for a couple weeks though...yeah. we'llbe staying inside for awhile, lol. I am really glad it's not broken!

Ahhhhh...the boot. I had that when I broke my foot. Guess it wasn't severe enough for a cast. It was on my right foot and so I had to drive funky with my left foot. SO awkward! I'm glad yours isn't broken!Thanks everyone

Did you call parents right away to let them know you were having a substitute come in for a bit or just go and explain at pickup what happened? Glad you're okay!

I would have alerted them if it was going to be anyone other than my husband. They understand that my DH is basically my partner and I may leave at any point and leave him in charge. The "boot" is such a great fashion accessory isn't it!
