I do!
I wait till exactly 3:00 on the dot and then let kids get up. I want every second of my break that I can get. OOPS....3:00 now....time to go!

I used to...now the little stinkers wake up on their own about 10 minutes before my "break" is over
the ring leader is my daughter!
I do!

I never wake my kids up. I figure if they are sleeping then they need it! And I enjoy my break. With kids that wake up first they just have to play quiet until everyone is up. Doesn't take long after the first one is up though

I don't wake up - today is 2.5 hours so far. My parents are okay with this, but I have a few who medically need more sleep.

Our nap "ends" at 2:00. No one is leaving that room before then. :-) And at 2, I open the curtain (that functions as a door) as a signal that they may get up, and ask the awake ones to tiptoe out. The others stay there until they wake, unless their parents have asked me to wake them. (Which I will do by request, but only at 2:00; not earlier.)

I don't wake sleeping babies!! If they sleep for 3hrs then they need it!
What sucks for me is my own DS ends up falling to sleep later than the rest and throws it all off. :-/
I totally squeeze every second out of nap time
the kids aren't the only ones who need to recharge

It's summertime, big kids are here. No one oversleeps or has to be woken up.
I have a 3 yo dcg who seldom takes naps anymore and she is the loudest kid, has no idea what the word quiet or whisper means.
Yesterday I had 7 kids, only 2 fell asleep. One of those usually takes a 2-2 1/2 nap with no problem. But she woke up after sleeping an hour, screaming so I knew it wasn't one of those 'let her fuss and see if she falls back to sleep' cries. Then she was fussy for the next couple hours. I think she had a bellyache.

This is me. Our rest period is 12-2. Yes, I DO wake older kids from nap - I have a just turned 4 yo who would probably nap for 3+ hours if I let her. The problem is that we can't do anything else until she gets up - and I have other kids who only need the 2 hours (or less) and are waiting to get outside. The only ones I won't wake are infants. I guess my feeling is that rest time is supposed to be just that, a rest. Not hours of sleeping. That's for nighttime. And I get bored if quiet time lasts longer

Same here. We nap from 1-2:30 (my kids are all 2+ right now) and I turn on lights and turn off the music at 2:30. I let them take a few to move around and they are all up/going by 2:45. Snack is at 3 after potty and then we are outside until pickups. I get antsy after 2.

12:30-3:00 here. If kids are still asleep I wake them.
AmyKidsCo 12:50 PM 07-17-2014
I don't wake anyone up unless they sleep past 3:30. If they're all sleeping that long they obviously need the sleep!

I don't wake kids up either. If they are sleeping then they need the sleep. I woke one up earlier this week by mistake and he was a bear!!
Crazy8 04:35 PM 07-17-2014
oh yes, if they are awake earlier I wait until 3:01 to go in. If they are sleeping I will even go to 3:15!
KiddieCahoots 04:47 PM 07-17-2014
Yup! 1-3:00.
Although one of my mom's has been picking up earlier, and ringing the door bell during rest.
This will be changing after summer hours are done, but for now not a big deal, most of the kids will sleep through, especially from all of our outside play, but if not, they stay quietly until 3.
