DCM Tuesday comes in saying how DCK is crying that they don't want to come here. The child used to be full time, but went part time. I said well, dck is fine when they are here, they behave and are having a good time I don't see anything out of the ordinary going on. If I did I would have let you know

GM also cares for the child on the days dck is not here. GM throws DCM under the bus a LOT and had told me that dck is no longer taking dance lessons, t-ball or swim do to throwing tantrums every morning screaming they don't want to go.

Well again today dcm comes in saying how dck was kicking and screaming (age 2.11) that they don't want to come, that something MUST be going on here. I reply, "oh you mean like they did when they had to go to dance, swim, and etc. DCM eyes get really big. Does not say anything and I walk away. this mom has made comments in the past that when the child has issues it's the fault of the DC.

DCK starts to cling on to DCM and cry again. DCM does this all the time, the dcm can't leave until kid crys so mom feels better about leaving.

DCM says I think I am going to call gm to come pick up, dck is too upset about having to be here. I have had this family for 5 years. (had older kids too in past) I said no need to have GM pick up, here is dck stuff, I think we can both agree that this is not working out any more. I will mail you a refund for the remainder of this month.

DCM and I stand there looking at each other and she says you're joking right. NOPE, not joking at all. I need to move on to start class thanks for understanding, I hope you find the right place that dck wants to be at and again walk away.

I hear dcm say lets go and then slams my front door.

this dcf hands down has been the worst family I have ever met in my entire life. I don't know how I was able to deal with them for so long...................I already feel a million times better!!

Good job!! Im sure you feel much better. I had a "friend " that I babysat for and she constantly did the guilt thing. It was so annoying and when I told her I would no longer care for her child in her home or mine she was livid but I was relieved. Im sure she will think twice before pulling that on someone else now.

Congrats! I know I had a horrible mom and when I gave her the term notice she thought I was kidding and couldn't believe I would term her precious angel. (This baby cried for 12 hrs straight had one nap a day [6mnths old] and refused bottle feedings all day. The baby wasn't the final straw for me. It was the manipulation from the mom that had me done. I felt so much better after terming.

I LOVE IT!!! I know how GOOD it feels too!

I let go of a family on the spot when a DCM broke yet another rule in our 2 week trial period. She said, "You're going to watch my kids until I find someone, right?" I replied, NOPE! That's why it's called a trial period. I tried. Period." I walked away & resumed what I was doing before she got there.

I'm so glad for you!!! Good for you for taking a stand.

She was insinuating that something was going on while at daycare do male the child behave in that way. That would have meant trouble. Are you licensed? Call your licensor and tell them exactly what happened and mention even the part that gma said. Be prepared for a complaint and a visit. You have nothing to hide but parents to funny things when they're upset and of course nothing is ever their fault or their childs.
