Daycare and Taxes>Private Tuition For Special Needs Question

I don't know what else to ask but I thought it might be worth a try to ask you.

My daughter is profoundly deaf and has Pearvise Developmental Disorder on Autism Spectrum. I was told that I should claim on my taxes that I paid $20,000 in full in September 2011 to private school due to her autism. Is that true? I am afraid to get audit from IRS if it is not true. I also read on website that I can claim it but I am not sure if I should.

I just found out that I should have put my daughter disabled on my taxes which I never knew. Should I put it on taxes?

I'm sorry, but I don't know the answer to your question.
