I lost my voice this weekend. Today, I have a few sounds in the bass region, nothing resembling normal. Luckily, the girls are being beyond good, so I haven't needed to say much. The baby is looking at me funny-like he doesn't recognize me. Everyone went to sleep without lullabyes--Hubby said they were all breathing a sigh of relief over that! ;-)

Makes for an interesting day.

O my, yes it does make for an interesting day. I worked in center for five years before opening my own daycare. I lost my voice for 3 or 4 days...while being one of two teachers in the 1-2 year old room. We had 10 kids. It was rough. The kids couldn't hear me to follow directions, and my other teacher couldn't hear me to help me out. Very very stressful for everyone involved.

I hope your voice gets better soon. Try not to talk if you can help it, that will make it come back faster.
