I'm trying to convince a Scottish friend to come here for ice caves instead of Iceland. Where are the ones you mentioned last year?

Bayfield Wisconsin. They are part of Lake Superior.

Unfortunately the ice caves are inaccessible at this time.

They "say" conditions may change but with the weather around here not being very cooperative, I doubt they will.

I searched all over the forum for that thread but could not find a reference for Ice Caves.

Also Mema went to the ice caves during the summer months.

You can see the same pictures I posted without the ice.

Thank you. I searched under caves,ice, and ice cave before I gave up and asked.
It's too late to plan a trip this year, but maybe I can talk her into it.
