I took the kids there today for an outing. They have a hot air balloon ride that goes up 400 ft, a carousel, and a grassy play area that would be great for a picnic. It's all free, including the parking. The kids had a blast.

That is a great place and site. Liked the Field Trips page. I have a place in Laguna Beach and I am close to Irvine.
