I received a $200 gift card for Lakeshore today for renewing my Stars. (Sad to say the rewards are the only reason I do this.) Plus I've still got coupons good for 60 bucks credit so I get to go on a shopping spree for the dcks! Wheeee!
Any suggestions?

As for suggestion... I ALWAYS fall back on manipulatives when I am undecided.

They provide hours of entertainment, support fine motor skills, create opportunities for teamwork, build their imgainations, help their brains make neurological connections needed for problem solving, thinking skills, planning, implementing and they're just plain old FUN!!

My kiddos of all ages love manipulatives

Lucky you that you can pick! I'm not participating in our QRS program but I've heard that you can request certain items but they have to be approved by your technical consultant, and if an item isn't available they'll substitute something else.

I do NOT have a light table and will look into that because it's always been in the back of my mind.
BC, the only thing I don't have is the Bristle Blocks....hmmmm they might like those.
I've got blocks and musical instruments(lately I've been wishing I didn't have any of those!! Only so many loud renditions of Jingle Bells before I say ENOUGH Lol) Maybe a few different ones I don't have would be a good addition.
I love blocks and all things that go with them but the dcks only use them sporadically. I have to present them differently, I guess.
I saw those bamboo blocks with panda bears, does anyone have those? If so, are they popular?
I bought some sensory magnetic blocks(kind of like magna-tiles) and the dcks like those.
Keeping all your ideas in mind, I'm going to go shopping. Got an email for 30% off 1 item before midnight, we'll see.

Amy, I find it kinda sad the program puts limitations on what providers can get, to a degree. They want us to have quality items so it doesn't break right off and it is money coming from them. But who else except the caregivers can see what would serve their program the best?

LIGHT TABLE! I LOVE LOVE LOVE mine, it's played will ALL day every day. I only wish I had gotten it sooner.
