What to you do when they are all in a mood. Testing each other and me. We've gone outside, one screamed the whole time, did a craft, unnormal messes. Watched a movie picking on each other. Napping pretend snoring and load noises . Omg. What is going on!! Please help me what do you do. Hoping nap will bring better moods for everyone.

Crossing my fingers they all fall asleep soon for you!

I would just go tell them to go to sleep, and stop talking, then give them my evil eye!

Try breaking out some random group bonding activity and stop all curriculum for the day. "Take a break".

Grab a stack of washcloths and sit in the center in your playroom. Start folding... (Sheets of paper work, too.) Ask casually if they want to help.

When they start coming to help make a big deal out of it... "Thank You. What an awesome helper". Even stragglers can't resist a "Thank You".

Then have them move on to something sorting blocks by color for no reason at all. Sometimes a group "bonding" chore will get them back on track.

"Can you help me?" has been a game changer here lately with all the dreary weather. Once they are all back on "My Team" it goes smooth again.

The best way I found to handle an "Ants in the Pants" kinda day is to give them each a blanket to play on. Every 15 minutes trade the toys with the kids. No getting off the blanket. This way they can't touch each other. It helps here!

I do a group hug and then attempt to return to what we were doing. The group hug helps distract the little ones just enough to redirect them in a happy loving way.

It's been that way here for this whole week. It's the only thing I hate about the Christmas Holiday.Kids seem to be so hyper. I have three here that usually listen well and they have cotton in their ears or something this week. We haven't even started our Christmas themes yet. I'm kind of scared
