I am having a problem with safety locks. The only ones that I have found are the ones with screws. I don't have double doors to fit the regular locks but don't want to screw locks into cabinets. Any other ideas?

I don't understand what you are describing. Can you provide a picture of the door/cabinet?

I have only seen three types of child safety locks for cabinets
Tot-locks: Screw mounted locks that lock and unlock with a magnet
Swivel Locks/Push release. (Screw mounted: The ones you push down to release)
Non screw mounted: Safety 1st Side by Side Cabinet Lock
You can only use these if the hardware in the front of the cabinet is close enough together.

Add to that, I did notice a new type of strap lock on Amazon. These might work for you??
Safety Strap Latches Locks, Adjustable Multi Use Safety Strap Latches Locks

Wow I don't see a way around that without screws.

I had some adhesive ones, not like that though. They didn't last long before the adhesive didn't stick. Wonder if the ones in the link are better. Have you tried them?

I don't see any way to keep those from opening without screws. I would almost suggest key locks on the door handles.
There is also a magnetic locking system that is screwed in the back of the door and is not seen on the outside but uses a magnetized key to unlock the door.
