Daycare Center and Family Home Forum>How Do You Downsize?

I am considering dropping down to either the lowest level of licensed care (so that I can stay on the food program and receive daycare assistance) or drop licensing altogether and go off the grid. I need to go full-time at my other job by the end of the year in order to keep health insurance.

My question is, how do I decide which families to terminate to reach the new capacity rules? My wife and I really care about our kids, and most have troubled home lives, and we feel that we provide some stability.

If I were to drop licensing, it would be easy, since I would just drop the families that are on assistance. The other idea I had was to drop the ones that are reluctant to pay. All but 1 of my parents eventually pay, some just need reminding.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
