I typed up an awesome, wonderfully thought up response (at least in my opinion) and there was a network error so it didn't post. I think I only did it to procrastinate going to the gym anyway. Dang it.

Oh my lord the comments! LOL!

Agree with the article and its about time someone wrote it! Anyone else find there is never a word said about how tough being a caregiver is? Or how crappy parents can be? Every article is about choosing the right caregiver for parents.

It's because everyone thinks those who work in childcare do it solely for their love of children. An article like that would burst the artificial bubble they have.

I always say the love for the children I care for is shown through all of the planning, research and communicating with parents I do after hours it's not shown through me giving in to parent demands or working for cheap/free.
