I'm reading the full report now and so far I can see one issue not being discussed...... and that is the children they are compared to from two other cultures live in a culture where the child can get hurt without any real legal consequence to the family AND they can physically punish the child young and with severety for non compliance.
I'm just started on it but I hope they address this because it is the core attributes of families requiring children to do hard work at young ages that benefit the group. Hard work nets self sufficiency. Working for the group nets self sufficiency. If these other cultures were not allowed to have their children get hurt or even die OR they weren't allowed to harm their children I don't think they would get the outcomes they get in their day to day life.

This is a very interesting topic. I have a lot to say on this topic but not enough time to type out a whole reply. However, I absolutely agree that a home should be family focused, not child focused......huge topic for todays families.
I admit to being too lazy to read the one nan posted. (44 pages!!) Would you mind giving a synopsis? Pretty please? lol
