I have been wanting to get one, but they are so expensive! Has anyone used the peel n stick ones, are they any good?

I have been researching them too 
I will go with one I saw on Amazon. I tried Ikea, lakeshore and a few places. Looks like Amazon is the way to go. There are only a couple brands on there and according to the reviews they look about the same I'll let you know if I end up getting one and liking (or not liking!) one.

I have used a real floor length mirror in my program for the past 10 years and the only time it broke was when I was taking it off the wall to move it. Couldn't you just use a regular mirror or do you have a regulation telling you it's not possible?

I'm with you there... never had an issue with my wall length mirrors bought from Target... my babies are all under 18 months and my only issue is when they break the mirrors in the cloth/board books/play gyms because they bend them. yep, my actual mirrors don't get hurt, but the fake ones... yep in a heartbeatI have used a real floor length mirror in my program for the past 10 years and the only time it broke was when I was taking it off the wall to move it. Regulations just say floor length mirror. I don't know if I'm comfortable with a real mirror. I would just worry that if it breaks it would be a nightmare to clean up.
I am also worried that the acrylic mirror will end up looking beat up so quickly since the ones I've seen in play places are always scratched up!

Well over10+ yrs here too with $5 Target full length mirror turned sideways placed at eye level near floor for babies. I have two of the lakeshore shatter proof school mirrors with stands ($180 each). I have one mounted vertical and one horizontal. Both purchased in 2016.
Both were beat up pretty quickly. It does not take much pressure to dent them. Also, the screw holes do not hold up at all (stripped, split).
The frame came apart on day 3 on one of them, less than 30 days for the other. I repaired with wood glue and clamps. The upright one can easily tip so must be secured to wall/shelving.
Both mirrors are so lightweight that they are a constant source of conflict; being moved around/tipped by even the infants pushing.
I would have preferred to go with another product to meet this ratings goal, but the grants are supplier/product specific.

I'm leaning towards the ikea sticker mirrors. I keep reading reviews about the acrylic mirrors scratching easily and I don't want to spend a fortune to have them look crappy. Then I am just to nervous for the glass ones. I'm trying to see if I can get the glass one covered with a safety glass protector.

I've had my Target $5 mirror for 2 years. Its near the floor for the babies, its attached to the wall with permanent sticker/poster tape. No problems so far

Yeah, see I just want the sticky ones because I have so so little space I don't even want a mirror frame taking up space haha.. so I looked in many stores and couldn't find the acrylic stick on. So, I will need to order online I guess.

I have stick on ones from Amazon. I have them on the sides of the dress up closet and they have held up pretty good so far. I plan on using them in the infant area as well after the move this month.

I used a regular $5 mirror from Walmart and turned it horizontal as well. It lasted 4 years until I removed it because some of my preschoolers were becoming a little too absorbed in looking at themselves going about their day. 
Never had an issue. Ages 2-5 here and some were REALLY aggressive.
