Something about rainy days just makes the kids (and me of course) want to sleep, for a looong time. Even my 3 year old who only naps about half the time (or less) is sleeping right now. Woot woot!
Now if only I was allowed to get some shut eye too.

But I'm eating some Ben and Jerry's so it evens it out.

omg the rainy day today just sent the behavior of my group from normal into craptastic. This has been a helluva long day. 20 minutes until pick ups....and now the sky is blue and the sun is out.
::head, meet desk::
I just finished a honeycrisp apple though, so I'm pretty happy. If I plug my ears, close my eyes, and hum loudly that is, lol.

MMM I had one of those earlier. They are soooo delicious.
And luckily my mondays only consist of my almost 2 year old dkb and my 3 year old son. Tomorrow the twins come, so I enjoy easing into the work week with 2 instead of 4.

I love rainy day naps too but the rest of the day is not so great for me.
They spend ALOT of time looking out the window giving me weather reports so we can go outside. They're extremely fond of puddle walks but mostly they're so used to getting outside every morning that they go shack quacky if it doesn't happen.
