I have 4 kids "graduating" from preschool next Friday and have never done this before. It's one of the preschooler's last day too. My grandma is making graduation caps and gowns. I thought about making some sort of diploma, but have no idea what else to do. Any suggestions?

I go back and forth on if I want to do this or not before one of mine goes to Kinder in the Fall (when I'm about to deliver my baby LOL). I'm subbing to this thread.

That's very fortunate to have someone able to make gowns for you! I don't know where I'd get them. I think I'd do a little picture frame with a picture of them in their cap and gown holding their diploma next to me (dressed nicely). That'd be their gift to take home along with their diploma.

I had a large group last year graduate but don't have any this year. What we did last year was cap and gown, certificate (I bought them at the dollar store), and had them sing 3 songs for the parents. I had taken pictures of them in their cap & gowns prior to graduation and put them in these picture frames and wrapped them for the parents. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B001R1S2C4 We had cookies and juice afterwards. Oh and I also printed out their graduation pictures onto iron on transfers and took a white sheet to use as a table cloth and put all of their pictures along with their handprints and names on them. Then before everyone left I let them cut out their child's section to take with them.
