You have made me laugh. You have made me cry. You have taught me to bite my tongue. You taught me to speak my mine. Most of all you taught me to be ME!
With that said.., today is my last day at my daycare. I sold it. The new owners take over Monday. I'm excited about taking the winter off & also sad about it. If that makes any sense.
I want to thank you for all the support you have given me. I will still be lurking around & maybe give my smart@$$ opinion now & then.
See ya on the flip side..., & thanks again. HUGS TO ALL OF YOU!!

I don't think I even knew you were selling it?!? Nor did I know you ran it out of a building and not your home. HELLO, ENTROPY, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!

Congrats on the sale! Is this a retirement or a job change? When my Mom sold her center (which she lived next to) I think the first year almost killed her. Dad had to stop her from going over and telling them what they were doing wrong almost weekly.

I've been a blubbering mess today. Some kids have been here since they were 3 months old.
Tonight I am going to a couple of haunted houses..., research! I plan on doing that for the next couple of weeks. YIKES! Next year I will have my own. http://cellsofhell.com/

I guess I do reinvent myself. I use to be a police officer until my son was hit by a drunk driver getting off the school bus. (He's fine now. He actually became a drill sgt in the Army.) During his recovery I went back to school & was a Quality Assurance Analyst for Chemical Weapons of Mass Destruction. Somewhere along the way I bought an old county jail & people have been telling me for years to make a haunted house there. I have time to do it now!Hmmm... child care to haunted houses - interesting transition.

I wasn't planning on leaving the biz..., my plan was to sell my DC home that I do not live in & move it to my rental property in a better location. The buyers wanted everything. They made me an offer I couldn't refuse. It happened so quick, I didn't even have to put it on the market.
