It is about daycare centers that have a "No dirty diaper policy". I can't believe that people can get away with doing this!

Well that's just odd. If you aren't licensed to change a diaper I wonder what else you aren't licensed for.

That's stupid, I'm sorry. Why would a parent depend on a provider and have to trek back and forth to the daycare up to four times a day to change diapers??? And how hectic is that for the daycare to have parents constantly running in and out to change diapers? What job allows that?

That's my ridiculous moment of the day. Good luck with those daycares staying open.

It could be true In many states in centers not family childcare they have to seperate the infant toddlers and the 2 and ups. Plus the 2 and ups need to be toilet trained. So they would not have changing tables to change diapers.

If they did not have a license for under 2 or under 3 the child would need to be potty trained. per licensing regulations.

I guess if you lie and say your child is toilet trained you run and change the diaper. I know my dgs could not go to the new center/preschool if he was not potty trained. They really got to work on it then.

I worked one place that we were not allowed to change diapers but it was a gym daycare. They were only allowed to be there 2 hours per day while their parents were on site working out or whatever so if they had a dirty diaper, we would page the parent. That made sense to me. But a regular provider or center doing that is just plain stupid

maybe but alot of states regulations have not kept up with people toilet training later and later. The state still expects 3 yr olds to be toilet trained or seperated from those who are. so I suppose if a child is not toliet trained the choice is family childcare until they are.
