I am trying to update my overtime fee for late pick ups... What do you guys charge? For example I currently charge $15 per each 15 minutes late but I think I need to update this to more.

$10 plus $1/min on top of that.
It is per family, not child.

$1 per minute for being late. If the parent is working overtime & I'm notified in advanced, it's $20 for a block of 4 hours. (It doesn't matter if they are working 1 hour or 4.)

Mine is $10 for the first 10 minutes, or any part there of. Then it's $1 per minute. But as long as my clients don't abuse pick up times I usually waive the late fee for the first 5 minutes. Thankfully I have never really had any issues with late pick ups. Although through miscommunication between dcp's I have a few times earned and extra $30-$40.

Mine is only $6 per 15 minutes if its past their contracted time but $1 per minute if it's after closing time. Mine isn't a lot because my clients know that I don't like working over scheduled hours unapproved and I've termed over this before. They know I don't want the money so they are on time and on their best behavior because they don't want to be on the chopping block.

Mine is also but I added 'or any part thereof'. Therefore if they are 7 minutes late then they still pay $5. If they are 17 minutes late then they pay $10.

Mostly mine aren't late because I would term for continued lateness.

the center I'm at charges $1/minute. If it gets to 1 hour past closing and we haven't gotten ahold of parent and non of their emergency contacts will pick up child, we call security forces who will coordinate with Family Advocacy.

We've had plenty of late kids but thankfully in my year working here we haven't had to call security forces.

My contract states $2/5mins and I was paid $10 in late fees for the first time last week! LOL I rarely have late parents except this one Nana. They usually text me and I'm ok with that, as long as they let me know or see if it's a problem first.

Overtime or late pick up. My overtime $5/hr and must have 24 approval/cancellation. My late fee is $5/min. In two years of being open I have had one person late pickup. She didn't make that mistake again.
