Can I also add to the question?... Is there any software that is NOT an app or does not require you to use your phone?

Absolutely! I need a desktop program.

I don't want a parent app. I need business accounting software with attendance, menu planning, time space percentage and meal counts.

Everything I am seeing is geared to parents, not what I need.

These both look very promising!
Both these programs started here...
the developers spent alot of time discussing needed/wanted features here with the providers on the board...

On sandbox, I don't see a way to log attendance manually. *I have to have a physical sign in/out sheet on hand for two years, then log it, myself. Anyone know if it will work that way?

I also see nothing about detailed expenses, time-space percentages, standard meal counts/deductions or menu planning. Am I missing that somewhere?

E-mail them... I bet the response time is much better than KidKare

Ugh, this really messes up my new year. I need my software to be functional and trustworthy so that I can turn my attention back to the kids. I still cannot understand why they (MMK Pro) are doing this (leaving us all high and dry).

Also, nothing opens on Treetop to even begin researching. Just asks for my information for their waitlist. Yeah, not doing that if I don't know who they are. Odd to me, you know, since I am so trusting and all.

Leaning here, but don't like the choppiness of it. http://www.procaresoftware.com/

Sorry, this link shows the choppiness I speak of... "Versions are mutually exclusive and cannot be combined"

*Procare Software is a Registered ISO/MSP of First National Bank of Omaha

Do you use mmk for the food program?
Does you physical sign in have to have signatures?

I currently use MMK Pro. Not on food program. Love the software, as is. Won't have the option to keep it, it seems.

Yes, I must have physical signatures. I must keep them, hard copy, for two years for inspections. I log attendance into MMK for my own time space percentage and meal counts; tax purposes.

Have you checked out redleaf press? I've never used it but there is somebody on the board that loves it.
