I don't currently use mmk but am going to start tonight. I am wondering if I can go right to generating w-10s for the parents or if I have to input all of the Childs info first?
I used the mmk trial once and was basically over the program 2 kids in because it was taking so long to fill in everything. But I'm thinking that if I can at least get one thing done easily, then I will go back to using it.

You can print blank W-10's to fill out on your own. The form is both free online ( http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw10.pdf ) and available to print in MMK forms.
If you need the total and parent info pre-printed then you will have to put in every payment the parent made first.
In your shoes I'd do this years from the records I already have and start next years, now.... No need to stress.
