I was wondering if any of you have a good recommendation on some good quality nap mats or cots? I have some vinyl ones that haven't held up too well. Cots I'm unsure of because I don't really have room to store them if they can't be put in a closet when not in use. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Regalo makes an expandable cot. Amazon sells them wwith a sheet for about $25. The come in blue and pink. They are easy to store in a corner, closet or even under a bed.
I use crib sheets, the kids close them up and help put them away.

I use 3 inch porta-crib mattresses. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...KIKX0DER&psc=1

Each child has their own and it easily lasts from the crib until they are off to school.

I use slip on sheets, laundered daily. https://www.schoolspecialty.com/kind...-sheet-1400645

Here, mats must be 2-inches thick, minimum. After laying on them for a few weeks all mats compress, so a 2-inch mat won't meet regs in less than a year.

I like both ideas I just don't have a bed in my daycare room to be able to store them under and not a lot of closet space. I have foldable vinyl mats right now which are nice because they can just fold go right up on the shelf, however they are not holding up well.

I really like those, I just wish I could see it folded. I would need 8 of them so would that take up a lot of room?

I'll try to post a picture of one of mine later, if I didn't mention it before I just hold them up with the sheet on them and then I know which kid gets which one. But if it helps I literally have folded these and stuck them behind the door and left the door open.

I stack mine on top of a bookshelf, out of the way, when not in use.

The cot comes with a storage bag which makes the cot bit smaller.

I have both. I use the cots in two stacks, each stack with a mat on it, and slip cover them to use as sofas for the kids. I think the mats are more comfy, but they don't have a rigid edge that the kids feel in their sleep, and they roll all over the floor. But they don't do that on cots.

Actually one more question on those fold up cots, are they easily wipeable? My state regs I have to wipe them after each use.

I have these https://www.schooloutfitters.com/cat...m_id/PFAM54985
and I really like them. But when I got them it was a few years ago and much cheaper.
