Just in case anyone needs a list of the approved yogurts.
One of the area food programs compiled this list:

Food program relevant:

I just got an USDA email addresed to my daycare: "SUPPORT FOR PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP’S PLAN TO PROTECT AMERICAN FARMERS FROM UNJUSTIFIED TRADE RETALIATION" - https://content.govdelivery.com/acco...letins/20169ee

This feels odd. When did they start campaigning?

I am not on the FP but this is very interesting. A lot of my families send their children yogurt so I may add it to our morning snack once a week starting in the fall.....

What do you all serve yogurt with?

Yogurt is a credible source of protein

I don't know about others but I only buy plain greek yogurt and serve it with fresh fruit as a snack option. I don't think I've ever served yogurt as part of our lunch just snack.

I've never bought flavored yogurt for my DCK's either and I've never bought those tubes of yogurt...they just sound gross.

Lunch serving is an awful lot of yogurt!

I will stick with snack serving.

That's what I was thinking. My son doesn't eat meat (texture thing) so I often serve him yogurt as a substitute, but he never eats more than 4 oz! And usually closer to 2oz. He's almost 4.
