I run my daycare as a sole proprietor and I have a business license registered to me with the name of my daycare on it. I don't have any accounts with my business name on it, I deposit my checks into my personal account and I've paid estimated taxes using my SSN (as a self employed sole proprietor). I'm not 100% sure how to answer this question in Turbo Tax:


This business is owned by: (me)


I use my own name for my business name.
OR
My business has a different name from my own.

If you use a business name in your work, enter that. If not, say you use your own name. It really won't make much difference with Turbo Tax.
