I'm opening a home daycare, I was looking for answers to some questions and found this site. It's a wealth of info and I'm glad I found it. Does anybody have any tips?

It is a business- it took me years of figuring that out. That is the hardest balance when you are dealing with 1) it is in your home and 2) awww they are cute little kids. You need to set the standard you want from the beginning. If you want to be paid prior to the week- then be paid prior.
