I got this one this morning from the mom of my 9 mo dcg who I have posted about who won't sleep. Ummm, ok, if I could get the girl to sleep I would have no problems! I just kind of chuckled and said, "I would LOVE for her to sleep more. If you have any advice on how to make that happen, I am all ears!" Honestly, what do these parents think?

Forgot to add this is because she has been crabby and tired in the evenings. I am sorry, I wish I were a miracle worker.

I also have a dcg who started when she was 8 months old.

She shrieked and screamed until she would fall asleep! It was awful!

She did adjust it just took her a few weeks.
I put her down at 8 am for her morning nap...lasts 45 min to 1 1/2 hours.
Then afternoon nap at 12 noon....lasts 2 hours sometimes more.
And I think I would have her take a short 30 min nap too at that time too (shes almost 11 months now).

She in now a great napper and never cries when I put her down in her pnp.
However, she always wakes up 20 min after I put her down crying, then she goes back to sleep and finishes her naps.

It does help that dcm is wonderful and puts her to bed the same time every nite and wakes her the same time every morning!
