I have 2 girls that will be leaving, one today and one tomorrow. I am trying to scramble to throw together a good-bye party. They are going off to school and have been in my home for over 4 years. I was thinking about doing something with the other daycare kids, such as a posterboard and putting their handprints on the board and having them put their name somewhere near the handprint. I was also thinking about doing a collage of pictures from all of the years, allowing the daycare kids to do this. I also thought about a scrapbook through walgreens from myself. I would really like to have ideas for my kids to do something for both of the girls. Could somebody please post ideas of what you have done in the past?

I love the idea of a photo scrap book.. Perhaps get each child to contribute a piece of art to glue in also. I usually give a book to a child who is moving up. One of my favorites is "Oh the Places You'll Go," by Dr. Seuss
