I know a lot use the Minute Menu pay feature - I did the free trial for MMK but didn't like it much so that is not an option for me.
I have the square card reader but don't like the fees and the few days it takes to get to my bank account. Paypal and others all seem to be the same thing - either fees involved and quite a few days for me to be able to go take money out of my account.
Right now they pay by check, I take a pic of it with my phone to deposit it and I can go to the bank the next morning and take the cash out. I want that convenience but my dc parents want the convenience of just hitting a button too - not writing out a check, ordering more checks, etc. I understand - I probably only write out 1-2 checks a month now with everything being automated too.
So, is there anything out there?? I hear about google wallet and apple pay but I don't know much about the newer options and can't find info on transfer time for the google wallet.

Several of my clients pay me through Venmo. Totally free for both of us and I get my money the next day as long as they do the transfer by 7PM ET (5pm my time) I get a text or email message the second they do the transaction and money in my acct the next morning. They can do the transfer on their cell phone any place/any time....so no excuse for not paying me.

I bank at b of a and 9 of my parents do direct transfer.
it is in there immediately and it does not cost any of us a dime.
I love it, I don't have to do anything.

I bank at BofA also but none of my parents do. Many years ago I had a parent who paid me thru her bank but her bank mailed me a check and it was late VERY often. She even switched it to arrive a day early and even still it often didn't show up till Saturday or Monday. I knew it wasn't her fault but we had to stop doing that. I'm not sure if that's how banks still do their bill pay option.

this is a direct transfer using only my phone number. In fact I can send money to anyone that banks anywhere just using their phone number
the difference is when I get access to it.
I pay my staff by direct wire and if they bank at bofa it goes into their account the same day. IF they don't it won't be available until the following day.

The do. I had 3 dcf whose bank mailed the checks. The had to set it up almost a week early than the bank site said. The bank blames the P.O.
They did it anyway for a long time, but all eventually gave up.
