When will all this sickness go away!!! I'm so tired this year, that every time I turn around someone is sick-either in my childcare or my own home.
I was terribly ill for 3 weeks last month and had to take three days off-
. I came back last week feeling fantastic and wonderful.
Two weeks ago, I had spring break off and was sick through the whole thing-wonderful. When I came back last week, my parents informed me that during spring break-one whole family had the flu and when their child went somewhere else for care that whole family came down with it. Another one had pink eye and then another one came down with something else (bad head cold or something).
My figuring is we are o.k. because you all did it over spring break. Nope, yesterday my son comes down with the flu and this morning my hubby. I seriously can't afford to get sick! I'm worried sick I'm going to get this now and have to close and lose parents. I have never been this sick as I have in the entire last year. I'm not sure if it just keeps getting passed around the daycare or what but I wish it would all go away.
I'm upset to because we didn't get to enjoy spring break because I was sick and now Easter is shot because of them being sick-.

I am so sorry that your family is sick again. That so stinks that this happened at times when you should have been relaxing and enjoying your family. Praying that at least you don't get it!

I'm so sorry to read that.
Do y'all take Emergen-C or any vitamin C supplements and get plenty of rest to keep your immune systems fighting? (Just trying to come up with ANYTHING to keep away future illnesses for you)
Edited to add: Germ Guardian is a great thing to have! I have the dinky plug in kind (~$30) in the room where the children tend to hang out the most.

I'm sorry. There are definitely time that things are like this with my daycare. The best you can do is just the best you can do. If you have to close and lose a family for it, then you just hang in there and replace them and keep chuggin' away. There is no other option right? Its not like you are getting sick on purpose. Time to also tighten up your illness policy with the daycare kids and work on taking better care of yourself. Regular exercise and vitamins are a good place to start!
