So far this year I have had a DCB break his arm in my care in September (On day 3 of him starting here!!) , a DCG fall on top of another DCG on the rocks and required stitches and last week I had two School Age DCGs crash into each other and one ended up with a black eye while the other ended up with a concussion and was taken out of school for a week?? (Not convinced on the whole concussion thing though...there is a boy in their class who got one a few months back and missed 4 months of school and the kids have talked non stop about his symptoms and this particular DCG is a drama queen, as well as a bit of a liar. She tends to exaggerate things and lives for attention.) When DCM called me this morning, I asked if they had taken any Xrays or Scans and she said no- the diagnose was based on symptoms only. In all honesty, she didn't seem that hurt altough we did call DCD to pick her up.
I feel like a terrible provider this year and am almost wanting to give the whole gig up based on all the injuries. It is disheartening.

These things happen. Do you have an overly wild group?

Ugh that stinks! One of the reasons I am phasing our school aged care is because they are ROUGH and I'm worried about similar issues.
