I found this on pinterest and thought it was so cute! She uses lollipop sticks from Michael's and serves them with syrup to dip. I may have to try them this week to see how it turns out.
Hmmm....what else can I put on a stick?

Oh what a cute idea!!!
I would do this for my own kids (if they were still young) or my grandkids (if I had any) but I am not so sure I would do this with my DCK's.
Sticks are a bad thing here..... LOL!

That is so cute! You could do that for a birthday treat instead of cupcakes, and put some sprinkles on them when they're cooking.

BC I thought the same thing with the sticks. I have two I don't trust with plastic children's FORKS!

Yeah, I thought about that (the sticks) too. In my case, I have older preschoolers and SA'ers, so they do pretty well with lollipop sticks. It's the branches that come off my trees in the front yard after some wind that I have issues with.
MsLaura, sprinkles would be fun! Of course, we don't wait for a special occasion to do something like that, we could just be celebrating...Fridays! Lol.

I did it a couple of weeks ago for a birthday breakfast. They turned out fine! I did my own pancake recipe though. The kids were surprisingly tame with the sticks. I took a couple away immediately after the child was done eating because he is prone to craziness
. Here they are:

I use a cake pop maker from BabyCakes. I use it to make sausage pancake poppers. Like pigs in a blanket only easier and my kids LOVE them!

Does the batter need to be thicker than usual?
