I feel like everything I could possibly be doing I have already done. I'm overly bored at the moment!

I find I need a good mix of work/downtime. If I relax too much then everyone wakes up and I feel overwhelmed and underprepapred. If I work too much I don't get enough down time and then I feel crabby.
So I fold laundry, do paperwork, read a book, goof off online, etc. If I feel bored I start prepping PM snack.

Make my own lunch and eat.
Throw in a load of laundry/move laundry to dryer/fold laundry.
Other chores (organizing, sweeping, etc.)
Bill paying.
Clean the kid's bathroom.
RELAX!

My dh usually cleans up and does dishes so we can eat lunch together. I get caught up on paperwork, spend some time with dh and ds and goof off on here.

Well, let's see... I

Have a glass or two of wine
Eat a few chocolates
Run a few errands
Have a little *special* time with my hubby

Oh, wait... You asked what DO I do, not what I wish to do!

Generally, I eat lunch, help my dd with her schoolwork (we homeschool), straighten up a little, and watch the news. I am a news hound and feel a deep need to be informed!

My daycare kids are asleep in the next room so I try to keep this floor very quiet. I mostly Internet, read or work on craft prep for the next day. I eat with the kids and the hardest thing for me is to not snack more.

My dcg is asleep in my living room and i am in my dining room. i have a very open floor town home. laundry is up stairs and all folded. i am trying not to fall asleep. LOL.

What kind of craft prep do you do? I'm looking for a project I can do with 1.5 to 2 years olds.

If I'm tired, I'm in my recliner in the same room as the kids also...otherwise, I try to research projects and activities for the daycare, or get on here, check email etc while it's quiet.

This is my down time and I'm not going to use it cleaning when I'll be doing it all over again once the kids wake up. What I don't get done in between morning and afternoon activities and what I do in the evenings...doesn't get done.

I stay on top of everything though so it doesn't accumulate, try to keep my weekends free of household chores.

Cutting out stuff, searching for colouring sheets, making colouring sheets if I am ambitious etc.
I do weekly themes. In January we start one letter every week and that gets us to the end of the school year.
This week we are doing I and J together and we have the theme of Sports on top of that. I usually do one painting, one gluing, one colouring and one baking craft a week and then on Fridays they bring in images that they (their parents) have snipped that go along with our theme and we make a collage.
My kids are all between 2 1/2 and 2 years old.

Once I get the kids all down for nap, my DH and I have lunch together.

Then after he leaves, I do whatever chores need doing. I clean the bathroom, do the dishes, vacuum the floor, wipe down tables and chairs, do paperwork and get activities ready for the afternoon.

Basically anything that needs doing.

I have plenty of things that I could be doing and if there is any mess left from lunch I finish cleaning that up and I'll typically mop as well (I'll throw mopping in there once or twice a week depending on how ugly it looks ) Otherwise I catch up on some TV, read, play games, goof around online - etc. I like my down time at naptime

I start to get mine all down for their nap around 12 30 and by 1 30 or so all are down for naps. I usually prepare dinner which is also the kids lunch for the next day. While I do this I fold clothes, do laundry and watch something on TV. My home is all open concept and 4 rooms that the dcks sleep in are all visible to me.

My dcks start leaving at 2 30 and are all gone by 4 00 pm so as soon as they wake from nap it is pickup time.

Then my son comes in at 4 pm and I can spend the rest of the evening with him until we go to bed. I now start my day at 5 30 am so I am usually in bed by 7 00 - 7 30 pm right as soon as my ds is in bed.

I have non nappers so during "nap time" which we now call quiet time I keep the non nappers quiet and get a short break.

I don't work! I find something to watch on my iPad......xfinity or Netflix.....then I put head phones on just 1 ear (so I can hear kids) and zone out! Oh, and I have a cup of coffee to keep awake.

I hate when it time to wake kids!

Right now I get on here but that is going to change as we can't do any personal media with the stars program during childcare hours.

So it looks like tons of cleaning will be done, curriculum pre, paperwork, etc.

Yep, me too. Occasionally, if I'm feeling weird, I'll actually do some work.

At nap time I'm usually:

Cleaning up lunch
Eating my lunch
Playing online
Sometimes I join the kids in a "rest"
Doing financial stuff

all while trying to keep the dog from barking at the landscapers/mail man/neighbor or whoever else dares to come to the door or walk by her property!

I don't clean because that's all done during awake hours and the kiddos like to help too.

I clean, clean, clean. Usually I eat lunch, then fold that morning's laundry and then do that day's designated chore. Today was cleaning the carpets... woohooo. Once that's done I try to pay bills or meal plan but usually just end up looking at useless stuff.

I usually do the dishes from the day, tidy up my home, empty the dishwasher, prep my family dinner, lay out everyone's clothes for the next day, iron any of my husband's clothes that he needs for the next day, eat lunch, check email, sito n the couch with my own DS and read while he naps with his eyes open watching t.v. Then I get my kindergartner off the bus and get everyone ready to go home.

right away I sit on the couch in the same room as my nappers, and have lunch, sit with the baby on my lap, and turn on a couple shows on my laptop, I don't even use earphones, and the noise of a quiet show has never bothered anyone, find a good enough series on netflix, and you can find yourself quite occupied! amd when my 4 month old is awake, I find it as an excuse to just sit and cuddle with him on my lap to keep him quiet and watch some shows, if I set him down to clean in a bouncer he will just cry, so dang.....guess I have to sit and relax!

I give myself a 20-30 minute "lunch break" (though I've already eaten w/the kids), during which I usually veg out with blog-reading, chocolate, and coffee.

Then it's into working overdrive. I upload the day's photos to the computer and review photos and notes from the day. I email the parents about our day. I write a blog post documenting more fully one aspect of the kids' learning and link to it in the day's email. Any time left over is used for record keeping, the kids' portfolios, and other paperwork (right now, kindergarten applications). And if the afternoon's project work requires set-up, I'll try to get to that (today, I have 2 girls planning to sew after nap, so I'll thread needles in preparation).

I really try and take a break while there asleep. I do a quicky clena up from lunch then go into my bedroom and turn on the tv. Sometimes fold clothes, organize my coupons, flip through cookbooks, poke around on the net. Nothing to excting. If my husband is home I lay down and snooze for a while. (I have 2 kids that get here at 515am) .
