So my DCF that has been a pain in my you know what can in today and gave me a two week notice.
Like I said a bitter sweet moment. I love the DCB but the DCM is just way to much for me. She expects me to break all the rules for her.
I gave her a letter yesterday informing her that from this day forward I would be following my contract to the letter. Hoping she would be upset and give the notice.
So I accomplished what I was trying to do.

Wow, it never fails to amaze how childish and immature parents can be!
I cannot stand spoiled parents who think they are the exception to every rule. Good for you for getting rid of her! Hopefully your next little dck will be as great as the little one leaving... and hopefully he finds excellent care at the new place.
Ugh, these poor kids who do from daycare to daycare every time a parent is called on their BS... I have on former family who is currently on daycare #6 (I was #4) and the oldest kid is not even 4 years old yet!! Same situation, always wanted special.

I just home they/she don't give you a bad reputation/recommendation for your daycare/business. My mom use to teach high school, so even though it was not daycare she understood what it was like to be a teacher. So when I went she was reasonable with her request.
I have seen some parents have some crazy requests. First don't send your child to daycare if you don't like things. Second some rules/laws are state and local laws. The school has to follow them. Third what is he parent going to do when the child goes to elementary school and has to follow the rules. Last what is this teaching the child? That they can always get what they want?
In the end the child is the ultimate loser from this.

she probably thought SHE was teaching YOU a lesson by terming. Oh well, some parents really never learn.

If the parent thinks they can do a better job, then why don't they try!

Just found out a friend that does daycare as well is taking this parent. Glad this family is leaving but very hurt that my friend is going to take them.

I would have to agree. I didn't think with the history of the family and the drug charges, that she would want them.
It's possible that her family needs the finances. You never truly know someone's situation.

I do now her situation and I would never do this to a friend after knowing what this family has put her through.
By the way this is the same family that so many on this forum have told me to term.
