I have had them for about 7 or 8 years now. This year we must have started them too soon. The weather has been crazy mid to upper 80's most of last month and now back into the 50's and 60's with overnight temps close to freezing. So our seeds started to sprout but then died and turned moldy. I am guessing because it got too cold at night hanging on the windows. So we threw out all the seed and are going to try again in a few weeks.

But in the meantime I need to clean the insides of them. They have remnants of the mold inside. What can I clean them with that will kill the mold yet won't harm the next round of seeds we put in? I'm thinking vinegar but not sure. Any suggestions?
