Good Friday? Open or Closed

This year I'm open but I'm thinking about adding it to my contract as a paid holiday for next year.

Technically I'm "open" which means that all of my families are required to pay for the day - but most of them have already told me they're keeping their kids home for the day

I am open. The kids don't have school that day, but almost all of my parents have to work. I will also be open Monday as the kids have school and it's just another day. I do offer weekend care, but will be closed on Easter. We are having the family get together at our house. I am not expecting any kids on Saturday, but am not officially closed. Sunday we will also be celebrating our youngest's first birthday. She will be one on 4/28.

Open, but only one family is coming. Luckily they leave by 3 on Fridays so we should still be able to get out of town a little early.

I open but one of my family will be off that day. I am not sure about other family yet. My husband will be off and daughter will not in school but my youngest daughter's school will open this Friday due to making up bad weather. I will let my daughter stay home with us because it is not fair to her.

I don't charge for any holiday. Normally, I"m open on Good Friday.

However, this year we are going camping and I closed that day. It only effects on parent and her DH is off and will keep him.

This year I am open. But based on the number of parents who thought I was closed, I am adding it to my paid holidays for next year. I am going to take it as a swap for President's Day since our school have taken away President's Day as a holiday next year.

I added it to my paid Holidays about 3 yrs. ago. It's a long time to go without a day off between Jan. 1st and Memorial Day. I can't wait!!

Friday is a paid holiday for me even if one of the dcd's thinks weekends are good enough and I don't need any more time off! (see my earlier post!)

I am excited. I had one child on Friday and the mother just told me that her grandmother wants to watch her Now I don't have any children so I can enjoy the day off, I need it.

All of the employers in my area close. Even the two major corporations headquarted here. This is a VERY religous town

Open! Fridays are a light day for me anyway and I have a teacher family which subtracts another kid.
