I need something different...I remember awhile back some of you talking about a decently priced cord vacuum made for hardwood floors that could pick up chunks of food, etc. I can't find the thread anywhere. I was wondering if any of you knew what it was or could tell me something similar that you use and love. Thanks!
I have the Shark Navigator Lift-Away. It works great on my linoleum kitchen floor when I flip the switch to that setting, so I'm sure it would be fine for hardwood floors as well. It picks up EVERYTHING! Unless I have an obvious stain showing, I don't have to mop my kitchen nearly as often. I just run the Shark through there, and all's good.
The "Lift-Away" refers to the fact that you just pull the top half of it off the bottom, and you can transport it by hand to do stairs, drapes and cobwebs. I love it.
