Dcg4 has play school on Tues and Thurs. I bring her and pick her up on Tuesdays while toting 2-yr old brother along. Kids are home with mom on Thursdays and I have a suspicion that rarely is dcg brought to play school on Thursdays. How would you all address this? I don't think it's fair for me if mom doesn't do it. It's my time, my gas, and throws off our lunch and nap schedule a little each time. What would you do?

(Next year, dcg will be in preschool for 3 days a week and I have no intention of helping out with it. Parents and I have not discussed this.)

If you can no longer do it, I'd tell the parents that. It really should be irrelevant if they are taking her when she isn't in your care. Manage the things you can manage and let the parents worry about the rest. (even though I'd be a bit resentful about it too - I would just tell them I could no longer provide transportation.)

is she in your care all day or do you pick her up and bring her. Really to me its silly that if she is in your care to play with the kids all day that you need to bring her to play school, whats the purpose of it.

She's brought here and then I bring her and pick her up. I don't think dcm gets out of bed to bring her for 8:00 on the other day. I'm just annoyed that I'm going out of my way and disrupting the schedule to do it if mom isn't.

I understand. I would too, but you feeling that way or even approaching mom about it probably won't change how they do things anyways.
