Monday I had dkg out throwing up. Asked mom to keep her home tues after I found out ds's friend was also sick. He came on friday to play and brought pizza for lunch! Both were here that day. Tues I bleached some toys but, never got to finish and thought I got most toys they played with on Friday! I was thanking my lucky stars that we did not play in the basement at all last week(since most toys are down there) and decided on thursday we were good to go down there to play. Got a text this morning that a pt dcg(not here at all last week but, here tues and thurs) was now throwing up! Bleached all toys upstairs today, bleached cots, washed nap blankets, sheets, pillowcases, ds's bedding, stuffed animals!! It took me 9 hours!!! And I haven't even toughed the basement yet!!!
Anyone else got this stomach bug going through?

None of the kids have gotten it yet, but I was down and out a last week with it. Hoping I'm the only one!

My whole family got it last Wednesday night. So, I called everyone that evening that I would be closing Thursday and possibly Friday as I wasn't sure how long I would be sick. Let me tell you it was NASTY. Son-in-law 1 (air force) was down, son-in-law 2 (ex army) was down, husband (tough in his own way) was down, daughters, and all 3 grandchildren were down. They were all visiting from out of town. My stomach is only now not feeling queasy.

Only one dck got it, but 2 parents (separate families) got it.

Only one dck came on Friday as everyone else got scared off. I am so glad that they took me seriously when I phoned them. I have never called them ever so they must have known I was serious.

I did have a child here with it. "Too much watermelon..." was the excuse after she threw up all over the breakfast table 10 minutes after arrival.

Thankfully, all of the children weren't here for breakfast yet and I was able to clean it up quickly and isolate her. I am the one who caught it and oh boy, the stomach cramps that accompanied it were horrendous. I posted in another thread, but I thought it was pre-term labor. That's how bad it hurt when it woke me up from my sleep.

Yup! We had a kid here sick with it on Friday. He threw up all over me right after lunchtime. Yuck!! It was nasty... in my hair, on my face, even down my shirt! I cleaned us both up as best I could, but I wholeheartedly expect to start feeling sick soon. Surprised I haven't yet, but I will probably come down with it tomorrow.

yep, it seems to be about a 2 day turnaround! Which is why I thought on Thursday we were safe! I am guessing that the last one got it on tuesday before I bleached the toys they were playing with Friday. I hope you don't get it too bad. The good news is that it doesn't last long!
