How long should I wait to delete a mom who left without notice?

I'd like to do it ASAP since I didn't request her in the first place. I don't want to seem petty. How long would you wait?

If I had one that was invite only-not an open page, I would say that once they are gone from care, they are gone from the page regardless of if they gave notice or not. Last day of care=last day of page.

I delete families immediately after termination of the contract.

0 seconds. I'd also block her if you are in any Facebook groups that she might be in as well so she can't see what you're posting.

Okay glad I'm not the only one to feel this way. I posted the other day in my 'feelings are hurt' post the background. She ignored every text I sent her regarding their departure. Including the text I asked when she would be back to retrieve her things.

I was thinking to keep her around just to foster good blood. But with as many lies as they told me I don't think she is probably saying good things about me anyway.

One of those couldn't follow any type of rule/guideline family...which I'm sure somehow correlates to being my fault.

Plus I'll be aggravated if she deletes first.

When I termed a family last year I also "unfriended" mom on FB. Not because I was mad, but because I felt like I would be rubbing all the "good times" we are having without her kiddos in her face. I also didn't want to be in the position to "like" cute things she posted about her babies. Because I terminated for bad behavior (lots and lots and lots of it). It seemed "like" ing anything they did would be a bit hypocritical.

I don't have the parents as friends on my personal fb page in the first place.....ever. I keep it a working relationship.

I try not to add families to my personal page, but had one before she signed on so she stays. But I would definitely delete as soon as they are no longer with you. There's no reason they should continue to have access to any information regarding you or your daycare.

agree with Clep, I never add parents as friends on my personal fb. As far as the business fb; I would delete the minute they are termed.

Who cares if she gets offended about being "unfriended" she probably wont even notice because they dont tell you, you just dont see the posts. She doesnt need to know your business

I don't "friend" any day care parents at all. I need my personal life to be personal.

I wouldn't wait. I had a DCM term unexpectedly and leave a long list of bogus complaints with licensing. I blocked her, but before doing so I went through her friends list and blocked anyone with the same last name, and all her family members I could find.
