Does anybody use software like Minute Menu Pro?

If so, what kind do you use, and how do you like it?

I wasn't able to find anything comparable to Minute Menu Pro for a decent price. I have a Mac and got a program that would allow me to run Minute Menu. Then for Christmas I got a windows based laptop. I asked for a PC specifically because I wanted to be able to run Minute Menu without getting an extra program.

I'm also interested if anyone has used anything other than Minute Menu and been pleased with it.

I just started MM and I love it! It took a bit to get used to but I know it will be easier next tax season. I do not use the food program. Invoices are a breeze and so are payments and records. It has certificates to print and customize. I have printed 2 for different accomplishments and they LOVE it! I even got a gasp when I presented it lol

I use Minute Menu Kids Pro on my Mac and LOVE IT! I bought a cross-over program - VMWare Fusion - to run MMK and a couple of other Windows-only programs. The thing I like best about VMWare is that it acts just like any other screen on your Mac - you can swipe to/from it and drag files to/from it without having to login and out.

Out of curiosity, what are you looking for in a piece of software? Billing? Accounting? Scheduling?

I ask because I'm a software developer by trade and have been looking for a new side project if and when I ever get to work on it without DS trying to rip the keys off my laptop.

That's awesome!!

Well...if you check out Minute Menu Pro it has a lot of great capabilities.

I want something to keep track of receipts, kid/family information, calendar activities/meals, journal daily activities, track diapers and feedings, and keep track of tax information.

If you check out the prices on some of these they're VERY expensive. The Minute Menu software is the best value for a small at home daycare it seems.

Ok. I've used the calendar keeper since the earth was flat, lol. And this year , last week actually, paid for mm.
How do I do the invoice part of parents don't pay online. I'm having a major blurp in my head trying to figure it out.

No idea what the cost is as I get MMK Pro for free via my food program.

I posted the links so that you could check out what's available.

If I had to purchase software, I would want one that actually met my needs regardless of cost. I would look at it like a good investment in my business.

You can just opt to save and/or print the invoice. I save mine (pdf.) and attach to a weekly e-mail to parents.

You can also sign up for on-line payments but not actually use it as a method of payment. You can still use it to e-mail parents the invoices.

I don't know how to do that part though...

There IS a users manual attached to it (under the 'help') tab on the main screen.
