Smile How Many Children Of Your Own Do You Have?

A situation that occurred last night and another thread got me wondering about how many kids everyone has. (not daycare kids)

I have 2 and I've closed for business.

I was inviting a new student to my ds's birthday party and while talking to the dad I could hear that he had more than one child in the background. I extended the invitation to include any other siblings the boy might have. The dad replied, "Yes, he has seven other siblings." Didn't expect that answer!!

3- a nearly 3 yr old, one who's almost 20 & out of the house, & one that will be 18 in a couple weeks who goes to a residential high school attached to a college, so he's only home for a few months total out of the year, and then he'll be off to college..

I have 3 - all SA. This is the first year they are all in school all-day (all-day K, 4th & 6th grade). It is making me realize that as much as I enjoy daycare & being home so to speak it is time for me to move on from daycare. I want FREE TIME, part-time job looking here we come!

I can understand - things are easier with them gone but I was quite surprised with how lackluster I feel about things now that none of my kids are here! I didn't expect it at all so I am going on some interviews, still childcare related but part-time. I want those days every week to volunteer at school & get projects done at home!

I am soooo looking forward to this. Even the mornings when my DD is in preschool (3 mornings a week) there is a little bit more of enjoyment for me. They just seem to make it SO HARD.

I have 2 ... DD is 4, DS is 2.5

I have 3 now. Ds is 32, dd is 22 and other dd turned 21 yesterday.

Ya know when everybody tells you to enjoy them cuz the time goes by so fast? It's true.
I'd take back all those frustrating potty training moments, all those sibling battles of 'he breathed on me, she looked at me', all those sick nights of walking the floors, all those tears shed(by me LOL) the first day of kindergarten, I'd take it all back in a heartbeat if I could.
