How much notice do you give your families before a two week vacation? I close for two weeks in the summer, and the dates usually stay exactly the same every year, but sometimes change by a week.

I put in my contract that I give at least 30 days notice for vacation, but will usually give more.

My contract says 2 weeks notice but I always give a couple of months because they are planned so far in advance.

My vacations and closed days are planned the year before and indicated on a yearly calendar that everyone receives in January.
If there are any changes to the dates, I give as much notice as possible.
My contract says I have to give 2 weeks notice, but usually I give at least a month's notice. I try to make a calendar at the beginning of the year, but don't always have it planned that far out.

I let them know as soon I as know. So if I know 6 months out I tell them but never less than 2 weeks.
My son plays football for ISU (Idaho) and I live in California this will be his last year playing so I will go to EVERY game, My DCP already know the dates I will be closed for sept., oct. and nov.
