Hello, I am seeking answers to some questions I have regarding getting certified to become a "home certified childcare provider" in the state of Kentucky. I need to know who I should get in contact with to go through a certification program. Anyone who could give me resources or help, please comment back. Thanks

Hi Renae,

Your Licensing Agency should be able to give you information on how to get the training you will need as a provider. You can reach them at:

Division of Child Care
Cabinet for Families and Children
275 East Main Street
Frankfort, KY 40621
Phone: (502) 564-7962

You can also try your Child Care Resource and Referral Agency--they usually provide great services. You can find your R&R at: http://www.kentuckypartnership.org/ccrr/providers.asp Just select your county on the left side of the page to get more direct contact info.

Best of luck!
Misty
