Hi I own a child care center and recently added kindergarten to my program. My kindergarten classroom only has 13 students this school year but I have 2 teachers (both with degrees so they are paid more than any other staff) in that classroom which I cannot afford with such low enrollment. What should I do?

Let one go

Yup, if you don't have a place for the second teacher, let him/her go. Its a business and those are the kinds of decisions that need to made.
Thanks. I did.
It was very emotional as I tend to get attached to my teachers.
Terming an employee is easier if you look at it this way.
You can't afford to keep an extra person employed, but you do anyway out of the kindness of your heart. Business goes downhill until you are forced to close. All employees are let go.
I find all negative decisions are easier if you just look at the positive reason why it has to be done.

Definitely try to detach a bit more! Easier said than done for sure but it is VERY importang in business.
